The Langlee, Waverley Greens

The Langlee, Waverley Greens, has been completed. Altis Architecture was awarded for this exciting project with their innovative design to transform the Waverly Bowling Club into a mixed-use community hub. The transformation includes a brand-new clubhouse with two new bowling greens and 55 expertly considered seniors living apartments. Complimenting these, is a luxury wellness centre with a 20-metre indoor lap pool, treatment and steam rooms along with a gym and a yoga space, cafe and rooftop sky garden. Design inspiration is drawn from local contemporary architecture and references the heritage architectural period of the historical bowling club through simplistic forms and design proportions. The building facades consist of a combination of textured materials and screening elements expressed through a colour palette influenced by local natural materials and tones offering a fresh and contemporary aesthetic. In construction, Mirvac was selected as the development partner for the iconic project design by Altis Architecture.
