The Greens

Gledswood Hills , Sydney

Altis Architecture has been commissioned to design a brand-new Pavilion Club in Gledswood Hills, located on the historic site of the former El Caballo Blanco amusement park.

The scheme features a striking two-level, 56-bay Topgolf-style facility and bar, designed to complement the existing 9-hole par 3 golf course originally created by Greg Norman. The new clubhouse presents an exciting opportunity to bring the local community together through a vibrant, family-friendly hospitality venue.

Key additions include a spacious 500m² kids’ play area, a modern sports bar with a contemporary pub feel, a 1,200-seat bistro, and new entry, reception, lounge areas, and expanded car parking.

Architecturally, the design embraces a clean, modern aesthetic with generous glazing to maximise views of the course and driving range. The driving range bays are stepped down by one metre to provide uninterrupted sightlines from the clubhouse, enhancing the overall user experience. Skylights and large openings bring in abundant natural light, further enriching the welcoming feel of the space.

While the design introduces new social and hospitality elements, golf remains at the heart of the project  creating a fresh, inclusive, and dynamic environment for families, casual players, and social groups alike.
