Greenbank Services Club

Hillcrest, QLD

Altis Architecture recently completed a transformative redevelopment of Greenbank Services Club, delivering a vibrant new hospitality precinct. The project includes The Glasshouse sports bar, the Barrel Room, and a dynamic Marketplace food and beverage precinct featuring six diverse dining options, ranging from Asian fusion and churrasco to an American diner, salad bar, and dessert station. Additional spaces include a large function area and a welcoming lounge.

These multi-functional venues have broadened the club’s appeal, attracting a wider demographic including families and women with a mix of experiences such as a beer garden, whisky speakeasy, and relaxed lounge zones. The Glasshouse is defined by its vaulted, tinted skylights, natural timber and stone finishes, and botanical accents that create a seamless day-to-night atmosphere. Adjacent to this is the Sunroom, a softer, more refined space designed with women in mind, featuring custom carpets, natural stone finishes, and a statement gold stainless-steel entry.

Guests are invited to explore deeper into the venue through moody, interconnected lounges that lead to the intimate Barrel Room, complete with exposed copper brewing tanks and a sense of curated discovery. The project has surpassed expectations, receiving enthusiastic praise from both the client and the broader community.
