Recenlty completed, Altis Architecture were commissioned to put forward a proposal for the masterplan and re-design of the sailing club situated upon picturesque Lake Macquarie. The brief was to optimise the clubs floor space and position on the lake. Including expanding the club trading area, increasing dining space, whilst optimising views of lake from both indoor and outdoor vantage points. The intention was to future-proof the site and create a destination restaurant and bar. We have utilised a holistic approach in the planning to allow for future opportunities, these being seniors living capacity and a potential hotel development.
