The Langlee currently in contruction. Altis Architecture won the competition for this exciting project with their innovative design to transform the Waverly Bowling Club into a mixed-use community hub. The transformation will include a brand new clubhouse with two natural turf bowling greens and seniors living apartments with common facilities including a pool and gym. The proposal will provide an integrated social community hub for the local area with a high level of amenity and public benefit. The design draws inspiration from local contemporary architecture and references the heritage architectural period of the historical bowling club through simplistic forms and design proportions. The building facades consist of a combination of textured materials and screening elements expressed through a colour palette influenced by local natural materials and tones offering a fresh and contemporary aesthetic. In construction, Altis are working with developers Mrivac to deliver the scheme.
